Drea Cohane
Drea Cohane (b. 1980) is a Canadian visual artist based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Her portrait practice explores human nature and the sacred lives within. Working primarily in drawing and painting, Cohane uses colour and contour to illuminate the subtle, often unseen dimensions of the human experience. Cohane is a graduate of the Turps Correspondence Programme (2025). Cohane’s work is held in private collections worldwide including Canada, America, England, Scotland, France and Finland. She’s exhibited at Janey (Cambridge, Canada), Art Toronto (Toronto, Canada), Bankside Gallery (London, UK), Gagné Contemporary (Toronto, Canada), Galerie ERGA (Montreal, Canada), and Las Lagunas Art Gallery (California, US).
