Yvonne Weiss (b. 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Weiss’s work spans across mediums and materials and explores themes of spirituality, religion, morality, and the social roles of both the individual and collective. Weiss has exhibited at Janey (Cambridge, Canada) and Art Toronto (Toronto, Canada), with works featured at Outpost (Guelph, Canada), and Durand (Hamilton, Canada). Weiss’s work is heavily inspired by religious iconography and symbolism from the medieval and Gothic traditions where she works to reinterpret these visual languages through an esoteric and contemporary lens.
